How many of you guys

How many of you guys will drive around water in the street, or if unavoidable, drive really slow through it to avoid getting the undercarriage wet?

There have been times when I will take a different route to totally avoid a dirty or wet street.

Am I the only sick one who does this??:crazy2:

As long as I don't mess with traffic flow, I do it all the time.
Like you, I often plan my travels in an attempt to miss areas that I know will be bad.
What's sick about doing that????

:D

No, you're not the only one. Me too. I also avoid any misaligned lawn sprinklers that are spraying onto the street if no one is coming in the opposite direction. If there is another oncoming vehicle but no one behind me I wait until I can use the other lane.

Not me... I speed up and hope there is a pedestrian close by....

And, for even more fun, I wait until I see a super well maintained black vehicle in my mirror before I press my windshield squirtiers to clean my windows.

After driving all winter in the salt when we get the spring rains and the street floods I hit every water hole I see as fast as I dare.
Fastest and cheapest way to clean the under side that I know of. :D

Dr D - you're the guy I'm behind! :rofl

Sick?
Guilty?
As long as you aren't impeding the flow of traffic, what's to apologize for? :)
I don't walk through the puddles in my clean clothes and shoes if I can avoid them, either. :D

I head straight for puddles in fact i was out puddle jumping last night. Love taking the truck and watching the water fly up everywhere over the windshield and all.

I will go out of my way to avoid puddles...drive slowly threw the ones that I can't...so I guess I am guilty of all of the above.!

Good to see Im not the only one :D, this topic was discussed the other night with my wife after I drove two blocks out of the way to avoid a office park that had its sprinklers going, getting the streets wet......needless to say she thought I was a bit kooky..

Guilty :surrender

I do the same esp in dusty area's and dont u just hate when their are people with automatic garden sprinkler systems what miss the grass and hit the street :-(

Yup...I'm guilty of that as well. My work is the worst, they water every morning to the point that the road gets completely soaked. Often if I come in the back gate it's not so bad.

Why can't people aim their sprinklers in the grass? Apparently these people have never owned a black car.
