How many MF pads?

If typically using 4 orange pads per car how many MF Cutting pads would be needed per car assuming you are cleaning the pad often with a brush? Don't have an air compressor.
 
I would still plan on 4 if your not using a compressor to clean them. I have got away with 2-3 but I am using a compressor and it really help to get them as clean and dry as possible.
 
two. one for each side of the car. Even without a compressor, use a cleaning brush very often and you're just fine.
