How long is too long to leave on PwC?

Hi Guys,

I survived the summer Florida sun and now want to polish and reseal the car.
Of course, am trying to work this in between busy week-ends.

I just washed the car and now it is dark (no garage, just parking space under tree.)
If I put the PwC on now using the street light for guidance, can I leave it on all night and take it off in the morning?
I am totally manual, no PC or buffer.
If it is stuck on too much, do I use soap and water and wash it off?

So the question is, how long is too long to leave on PWC?

And the next question for next week-end would be, how long is too long to leave on EX-P?

Thanks,
Suzanna

It can be used as a WOWO if that would make things easier for you

EX (P) should be left on for at least an hour but I have heard that people have left it on overnite without any problems.

Hi Jay,

It's one thing to put on the PwC, but I don't think I'll have time to wipe it off tonight.
Or see well enought to get it off properly.
That's why I wanted to leave it on overnight.

We'll see if I get the energy to go back out now.

Thanks!
Suzanna

I don't think you would have a problem to remove it.

I would be more concerned with it picking up dirt or other contaminants as it was sitting outside over nite.

In our initial testing, we left some PwC on my Bronco for three months and it wiped off like butter..so you'll have no problem overnight;)
EX-P can be left on overnight, but I'd recommend it be indoors. It might be a slight bit harder to remove in the morning. As J said about an hour or two is what I'd recommend, but we have tested it for over 36 hours on cars and removal wasn't too bad :)
