How long for coats of wheel sealant to cure?

I've seen people do 3 coats of this stuff, so was wondering how long I should wait before applying another coat?

I have a 5 series BMW, so brake dust is killer.

First off I love your avitar! very cool. I think your safe to say it has cured after 24 hours.

Thx for the compliments on the avatar.

24 hours about right. So lets see, 24 hours, 3 coats, thats 72 hours, or 3 days per wheel x 4 wheels = 12 days :wait

all that math is getting to my head. It doesnt take long at all to apply the wheel sealant and buff off. 15 minutes and you should have all the wheels sealed up.

Actually, do two coats intially to ensure best coverage, wait a day or overnight and then apply a third coat and you should be fine for quite a while:)

You can do all four wheels at once. It should only take three days to do. During the first day you go all out on your finish and your wheels (swirl removal, polishing, creating massive gloss, 1 coat of sealant of your choice). The next two days are for maintenance washing and application of more sealant on everything, you can also add coats of tire shine and trim dressing to intensify the appearance of those things. After the 3 days is up your wheels are all sealed up, as is your car. This is when you start layering your carnauba for the depth we all love. Once you've done this for a week (as I did earlier this year) you'll have a car that looks great for a loooong time.

Wow, thats a lot of stuff to do, lol.

Luckily my wheels are only 3 weeks old, so no polishing.

Should I just put the coat of WS on them or put stuff under them? Say EX, then my WS?

The WS can be the only thing on there, although AIO would help the bonding. When I said do all four wheels at once I just meant that you shouldn't take 12 days when you could take 3. The rest of the steps are just suggestions for taking car of your paint at the same time. You figure if you're going to take the time to seal your rims you might as well treat your paint the same way.
