how long can soap sit on paint before rinse

Hello, I am using CR spotless system to rinse vehicle as I wash it



I find I use less water to rinse vehicle if I can wash a larger area, and rinse. Rather than clean small area, rinse, repeat



How long could soap stay on paint before it start compromising wax or maybe starting to dry up and maybe leave spots?



I always wash before sunrise, and usually in garage anyway. also i use griots car wash at recommended dilution (1 ounce to 2 gallons).



also i only use optimum car wax for protection, nothing else. just don't have time to do more , and also knee / mobility problems prevent me from doing more as well

ybajwa- The Griot's is very gentle on my LSPs, I basically don't worry about a long dwell-time causing problems. BUT... I dunno how resistant that OCW is :nixweiss I've only used it a few times and it wasn't the kind of durability I'm used to.
