I applied 2 coats and about 2 weeks later a coat of AW and seems to be holding up great lots of beading after todays rain.

I'm a month into OptiSeal on a daily driver that sits outside 24/7. Several washes, several rainstorms and no sign of it failing. Aside from that the finish looks awesome.

I would expect very good durability. Going to do two more vehicles in the next week and one of them is a work truck that gets washed 3-4 times a week. It will be a real test bed.

I've had it on a few vehicles going on two months now and beading, slickness and appearance show little, if any change.

Holding up well for me as well. I have it on my wifes black Expedition. It hasn't had a good bath in 3 weeks and the Opti-Seal is close to 2 months old. I will wash it this weekend.

Same here - been over a month and outside 24/7 and still beading and slick. Did all the plastic on my Mini Cooper and even along the bottom edge is still holding up - had a spot on plastic trim that had some white from polishing and I put cover it up with Opti-Seal then tried to apply Back to Black a couple weeks later and it just beaded up and had no effect. Works great on windows - lasted twice as long as anything else I have tried. The self cleaning ability is excellent.

If you are trying to measure OS durability, then I would not top with AW for now. The AW beads very nicely on its own for about 2.5 months and could certainly distort durability measures on OS. I think OS needs to be evaluated on its own without the help of other sealants on top...

I agree about not topping it. I had my Lexus to the dealer yesterday and he asked what I had on it because of the appearance. I explained what it was and he was very impressed with the finish.

My only concern is that a lot of the products I have in my arsenal will now be unneeded. It works great on grained exterior plastic, flat black trim (Honda van), exterior plastic +++. The only thing to remember is you have to start with a prepped surface as there are no cleaning properties.

That is really the reason i asked how it was holding up, after i applied the OS the pollen here was extremely bad and was hard to get off the hood of my car, so after the last wash i topped with AW to see if it would be easier to deal with the pollen .....btw any tips for pollen removal ?
