How is the Dewalt Vacuum?

Has anyone had any experience with the 2 gallon Dewalt shop vac? I was thinking it would be good for cleaning up inside the car and for jobs where a big unit would be fairly pointless.



How is the suction? Any good or bad design features I should worry about?

I actually prefer my house vacuum over the shop vac. I have a Dyson vacuum that looks like a space ship. Never clogs, has more suction than ANY shop vac I have ever seen!



Of course you suck water into it.

and it's perfect for a quick cleaning. I use an 18v battery in it works well. You can switch the hose to the opposite side and use it as a blower too if that's worth any "cool" points. The suction power is moderate at best... not really meant to do deep cleaning, just visible dirt and small pebbles.



Besides it's good mobility, you can always plug it into an AC outlet.
