Any recomendations on which might be the most effective?

I have been using " Turtle Wax's Tire and Bug remover" (hold the laughter) and like it pretty well, WM for about $2.50.

However as BigAl stated, look for "Long Haul Bug Degreaser". It has an enviable reputation among truckers, you might be able to find it at a truck stop. I haven't seen it for quite a while, actually I forgot all about it till he mentioned the name, and I'm fairly sure that is the name of it.

I just drove through a love bug epidemic in SW Florida, and the Turtle Wax Bug Remover was TOTALLY USELESS. I didn't remove a single bug. Not one.

What a waste of money. YMMV, but I doubt it. Look elsewhere.

I've been told that P21 Total Auto Wash works well, but I haven't tried it yet.

I've been having similar problems. Stoners bug and tar remover doesn't do squat for me as far as bug guts (works great for tar imo though).

Might have to pick up some of the LH degreaser and give it a shot.

I came across some stuff by Sea Foam called "Bugs B Gone". It works really well but is hard to find. I always have to stock up when I come across it.

This little bugger plus TAW kicks some serious booty!

I use PB Bug Squash as a prespray on my cars. I use taw sparingly, that stuffs not cheap!

Love this stuff... dilute it per the instructions and use it every wash to help rid the car of bugs. Does a nice job.

Some love bug problems are worse than others.......Here's the Florida version.....

Soaking them for a while softens them up. Be gentle when wiping them off.....Take your time......

I also use Poorboys Bug Squash and it took out some very old bugs, nice stuff!!! I just spray it on an MF and give it a few rubs, PRESTO!

I've been getting pretty good results from the DG bug remover, forget the # off hand but it seems to be getting the job done.

I really enjoy using Stoners Tarminator, takes everything off likebutter, just make sure to seal with something like AW when done, Im pretty sure it removes all LSP's.
