assuming that it's slushy out every day and the second you get out of your drive way your car gets dirty again, how frequently would you wash your car (daily driver).
 
When the weather is super sloshy I will wash out the wheel wells and rinse off the lower half of the car without bothering to dry it every night just to keep the salt off the finish.



I will wash it well during the bad weather twice a week. I wash it normally every Saturday morning during the Car Talk radio program on NPR. It's my routine!:D

I wash the car once a week. I have just started a new job and the roads are terrible, by the time I arrive at work the car is very dirty with lots of mud, road tar, salt and grime, by midweek you would think the car has never been washed :eek: But with some much ice and freezing conditions it is not possible to wash the car during the week (no garage). The interior however, is very clean (apart from the floor matts).

The frequency of car washing depends on the season



late spring, summer and early fall: as often as possible

late fall, winter and early spring: once a week



I am fortunate in the fact that I can bring my vehicles into the firehouse to wash them.
 
If it is like you described, then twice a week. I normally only do that when it rains a lot here.



I just washed my truck this Friday. It had been two weeks since I had last washed it and the only dirt that was on it was on bedcover, roof, hood. Sides were pretty much clean.
 
atleast twice a week , if not daily when my schedule allows for it. This is extreme but my vehicle is a rolling advertisment , so it has to look it's best at all times.

From where i am, if your really want to have a clean car, wash everyday, but to help the environment, i usually wash 2x or 3x a week :D

Well, with my "other" car, the last time I hand washed it was 4 years ago. All machine wash since.



My new car, I hand wash it about once every 2 weeks. Maybe I should do once a week too heh?
 
We don't have much rain here, and hardly ever have any slushy conditions. I usually go about 2 weeks between washes and then the cars are just kinda dusty.



If I was as religious as some of you, I could keep it going with a QD and CCD I guess. I'm too lazy for that. :(

I wash my car before I take it out and before I put it back in the garage and my truck I try to wash it everyday thats in the summer in the winter its a different story
