Hey guys, how do you price or group these add ons with the rest of your details?

How do you up sell them?

Thanks :)

I just recently began offering the "Zaino treatment" as an upsell to my services offered. Because of the wait times built into it (typically 30 minutes per application) and I usually do one or two layers of Z5 and at least 2 layers of Z2 and the cost of the Zaino, I charge $150 for a car $200 for SUV (ballpark).

Hope this helps.

I used to upsell it and charge an extra $15 to apply it, but now I only use Zaino. Typically on a clients vehicle after the paint has been polished and perfected I do Z5pro, CS, Z8. I don't charge anything to apply Zaino anymore because I figure if someone is paying 200-300 bucks for me to do their vehicle, they want a durable finish.

2x Z5pro isn't durable?

It certainly is. I guess I worded it funny. What I meant is, I only use Zaino as opposed to say, a carnauba wax because I feel after people pay 200-300 to get their car done by me, they should get a durable finish (aka zaino). So basically, I don't charge extra, it's included.

Most of my customers really don't care what I use on their cars as long as they look good. I have a few who are willing to pop for an extra $10 for me to use Souveran on their car.

What you might want to consider doing is Z-AIO, CS and finish with Z8 and you'd probably only have to do a small upcharge because that would be the easiest Zaino combo to use.

IMO I could not sleep charging $250 and using a LSP that would only last 2 months.

Like Scott said...I do the same when using Zaino and turn them into package deals. It makes it easier for the customer and for you to charge accordingly.

Basic Exterior

Clay - Z-aio - Z5 or Z2 - CS..........$149 and up (vey simple to do) This is a money maker and could do a min. of 3 a day.

Premium

Clay - ZPC or ZAIO - Z5 or Z2 w/zfx 3 coats - CS - Z8.........$199 up

Then for heavy correction add accordingly to one of the packages.

Once corrected and sealed with Zaino, the customer just needs a basic package to maintain it to its max every year or sooner if they want.

I do not charge extra for using Zaino, but it will keep your customers coming back for more if your work is top notch! Plus there friends will want you to do there car also. Think of it as job security!

You can also do bi-weekly washes also and then do a Z8 wipedown for additional cost!

These are just the basics and hope this helps!

Then add interior work and the price goes up!
