How Do You Guys Like Pinnacle Wax??

Do a search. For me PS is my go to wax. Take Men. PO85RD, RMG, Meg 21 optional, then PS and you have the ultimate look for my car. 5050 and Worlds Best Wax come close but not close enough.

Pinnacle Souveran will always have a place in my detailing cabinet. That being said, keep in mind that it does not last long. It is high maintenance, but wow does it look great on dark colors.

what doesnt last long the paste?or the liquid?

Both. They are basically the same makeup. The liquid is designed for lighter colored cars, and the paste is designed for the dark.

I haven't found them to last but a week or two before another application is required. You *may* get a little bit more longevity out of it by using a carnauba spritz (qd specifically for carnauba based products) of some kind, but it won't add much.

Souveran is for the looks, not the longevity.

Isnt that what most Autopians are looking for?

Not necessarily. If that were the case, why the buzz over the new Zaino Z-CS, or any longer lasting product for that matter?

i actually got a good few months out of it....Most people say it is only a couple of weeks, but i am sure that climate and other factors come into play.

Yes, it *is* expensive, but it does look good. The four month claim, is just that.....a claim. I'm sure it is possible to achieve four months, but probably not in an every day type of situation.

I, personally, don't have a garage so my vehicles stay outside all the time, and I wash my vehicles a LOT, and even the most delicate of washes still removes a tad bit each time.

Its a great product, it's just high maintenance is all. Like I said, I love it, and will always have a place for it, just not on my every day vehicles.

I'm a big fan of Souveran. 4 months may be pushing it, but I've gotten 2-2.5 here in GA. It's expensive, but it sure does look nice. I would reccomend Detailers Pride Max Wax if you're looking for a high quality paste at a decent price. It really does apply/remove easily and looks really sharp. It's similar to Souveran.

I have a car thats color is "polished titanium" and I am not at all impressed with PS. I dont know if it is because I applied it on top of UPPS or what but I did not see the wet color it claimed. Thinking of selling it...

I have mixed feelings on Pinnacle Souveran. I had been wanting to add it to my collection (around 25 paste waxes) for a very long time. During the last sale I ordered the 2 containers. I've used it on 3 cars (2 were black). It was nice but I didn't see any difference between it and other waxes I use (p21s, nattys, meg26 and others). In all fairness though I don't notice small differences in most quality waxes. Despite waxing 1000's of cars, if someone put the four waxes I mentioned on a car I probably couldn't tell which was which.

Souveran has the best look of any wax I have used. A great alternative, if you can find it is Megs #16. Those are my 2 favs.....
