How do you get your interiors dry quick?

How do you guys get your interiors dry after shampooing/detailing?I am working at a cheapskate dealership that will not invest much money in our department.I and my co-worker are simply letting the cars run with the heater on high for 20 minutes or so.
We are currently using a 5 hp shop vac and a Therminator extractor, and after shampooing, revacuuming, and then letting the car idle.
I am being asked by the used car manager to not get the interiors wet, very frustrating.
Many of these cars that are traded in are pigpens.Kind of hard not to get wet.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks, Rick.

hey rick, i work for a dealer also. i just tell them if they don't allow enough time to dry, the vehicle will end up stinking with a mildewy smell. they ususally listen after i tell them that.

An alternative to shampooing is to try a drier product. I started a threat about Megs Carpet & Interior Cleaner a few days ago, and that seemed to get rid if major stains. As said though, it will probably get expensive in the long run. Adam's also has a carpet cleaner that you spray and wipe off with a cloth. If you have to keep getting them dry, just keep extracting until its dry, unless the dealer is really pressuring you with time constraints.

-Park it in the sun
-Crack the windows
-Hang dry the mats before putting them back in
-Don't fully saturate the interior carpet

time is a factor, i cannot take more than 2 hours to detail a vehicle.i need to detail 3 a day.

obviously they care more about quantity, rather than quality. i do exactly what GSRstilez said. that is the best way, besides a nice extractor system.

besides,i very rarely see cars like the ones yoguys detail here.i get more of the filthy grand ams, like the work car posted earlier.getting the interior damp has to happen, some of the vehicles are trashed.

I have to emphasize drying the mats outside of the car time and time again. If you put them back in immediately, the interior carpet will never dry.

I crack the windows a bit then start the car turn the floor heater on high...the windows cracked will allow the moisture out and the heat will dry the rugs pretty quick....I let mine run for about 20 to 30 minutes.
