How do you clean Zaino Applicators ?

Throw them in the wash with your MFs. When they appear to be used up for applying zaino, I use them for ZAIO on wheels or Z-16 on the tires.

I do it every week. I think the issue is drying them together. I dry them separately.



I soak my Zaino app pads in "Purple Power", then throw in the washer with MF's.
 
I guess it would only matter if your applicator pads were cotton. If you're using a MF applicator then no issues. I know Sal seems to prefer cotton himself, but I use both.
 
This is the exception:



"Mist a #314 cotton applicator pad with Z-CS 1 time to preload the pad with product. Do not use an applicator pad that has been used with ANY other product. If you choose to reuse an applicator pad that has already been used with only Z-CS, store it in a sealed Ziploc style bag between uses."



I was told not to use anything but new pads with Z-CS and if you need to wash it recycle it into Z2 or Z5 use but don't reuse for Z-CS - always use a new pad.

I keep my Z-CS pad in a small ziplok bag and get multiple uses out of it with no problem. I soak my ZAIO pads in water/Dawn for a while and then wash them in the machine on delicate with liquid laundry detergent. Works great!
 
I am not a big fan of the Zaino applicators. They soak up too much product, so I use mine now on the wheels or tires.
 
I use Dawn Power Dissolver on my applicators and my polishing pads,and I wash them in the washing machine.



Power Dissolver is a great product,but you can choke yourself almost to death when you use it. It's strong!
 
I have never used his applicators .. I use the Meguiars yellow foam ones ..



I wash immediatly after using .. if you let them sit the sealant cures in it then won't come out.
