How do you apply Autoglym Glass Polish ?

It says on the bottle to apply it with a cotton towel. I have received my AGP today and applied it on the windows. The side windows looking great, but still have annoying haze, streaks inside of the front windshield. I've spent almost half an hour on the windshield, still no go.

I've read the 'windows' thread, tried everything which was posted there with no avail.

Any tips before I buy a new windshield ?

I use a foam pad, I have never had streaks with Autoglym so I cannot understand why you have.

Maybe oil or similar which is to much for the Glass Polish? Try washing with soapy water first, rince and dry, then try again. I do know that Autoglym does not like water or the damp. I also use a MF towel to buff off.

Sorry I cannot be of any more help :nixweiss

I use a simple cellulose sponge purchased at the supermarket. Goes on and off very easily. I polished the glass in my shower and it worked great.

Hi Deckard,

I use small cotton polishing cloths, well used and washed, merely because they're available in the house. I have had no trouble at all with AG glass polish, certainly no streaking.

The polish seems man enough for any contaminant. In fact yesterday I was removing the 'glue' from the rear window left behind after I'd peeled off a sales sticker, and the polish went through the bottom line of the rear screen demister, which didn't please me too much. Do you have any treatment on the front windscreen, any film of any kind? Sorry, but I'm clutching at straws.

Regards, Kes.
