You know a few months after a polish/seal the car starts to look, cloudy maybe? Some water spots that arnt white, but they are there and wont come off? Short of running a fine polish on the car how do you all get the car back to the just polished look?

Paint cleaner or light polish.

If it`s a DD that sits outside 24/7 it could use light polishing. Really if I didn`t enjoy caressing my paint I would use an AIO like BF TPS or HD Speed every 4 months, and use a spray wax after every wash.

Noting that my vehicles are now all garaged, but weren`t always....

If a Daily-Driver, *especially* one that`s garaged, starts looking like it needs a (full, Major Production) detail after a few months then *IMO* something`s wrong. Maybe it needs a different LSP, maybe a different wash regimen.

Outside 24/7 vehicles are trickier, especially if trees/etc. factor in, but even then...when I parked the (gone, but still in the family) Volvo outside it didn`t need all that much, but I`d use a Paint Cleaner or AIO (often mildly abrasive ones) maybe twice a year as needed prior to refreshing the LSP. But (conventional/regular, take-off-clear type) abrasive polishing? Nah, hardly *ever*. When I still had the Volvo I`d usually use AutoGlym`s Super Resin Polish topped with Collinite, these days I`d top it with FK1000P instead.

Eh, lots of variables contribute to the YMMV! on this one.
