I, like most of you have various combinations of compounds and polishes. So much so that it can be confusing as to where they all stack up in comparison to each other or which ones are pretty much duplicates of another brand. Also knowing that they all have their + and -'s and some work for this paint and not that on this particular day, but putting all that aside because the variables can just going on and on.
So trying to narrow it down and to simplify it lets go with the most commonly used pads for each type of product, which would be orange for correcting and white for polishing and using each product on the same type of paint most would encounter, hard verses soft. I know this may end up being too much of a broad spectrum so to some extent it will have to be generalized.
What got me thinking about all of this is my last purchase. I like trying out new stuff as much as the next guy but there comes a point in where you have more than you can try out, yes its possible lol unless you have an endless supply of cars and time which I personally have neither of.
I'm going to include a couple of AIO's that have known correcting abilty, but for the most part really don't belong with this list. We'll start with the products that I have and others can throw theirs into the mix. Hopefully some type of guide can be created to possibly help someone when making a decision on a future purchase. Maybe a rating system on cut and finish would work. More +'s more cut and higher polishing ability. So lets see where this goes it may be fun or get you thinking about what you have and can maybe do without, or as far as ACC is concerned need!
