How do I get these Grills clean???

Hi,



could you guys please suggest a way to clean and treat these grills. I normally just brush them clean when I wash the car but the lower grill is looking faded and spoils the look of the car when detailed.

I have lots of those on my mazda3 :) I use some APC like Simple Green to clean, then I dress with Poorboy's Trim Restorer. Very good product IMO. It removes the leftover buildup :)
 
Our Audis and our MPV have grills like that too. I use AIO and then SG on them. Takes a very long time but the results last pretty long.
 
If you want to dress them really quickly, get Adam's In In Out spray. Its like spraying on a clearcote out of a can almost, except that its a dressing. It will work really well for that stuff.

Would "Poorboy's Trim Restorer" run when it is raining??



Would spraying on trim restorer be ok or to put the product on with a brush to get into all the small grooves??



use to use Back to Black on my old car but this use to run when raining and use to look to greasy.



I am from the UK and can get hold of poorboys products through Alex, the other products would cost to much to ship.

I dont think PB Trim Restorer will cause you any problems. I would try that, plus its great for other trim as well. In In Out spray might be a problem for you since its in an aresol can, so I dont know how you could get it shipped to the UK.
 
I use TR on my grill applies with a 1" foam brush and have had good reults with no problems in wet weather.
