How do I do this???

Looking on ebay lately, i have noticed the mats/ carpets in some of the cars have attractive patterns that go up and down in stripes. If you know how to do this, please share your tips with me and i will sure be grateful for it!

WEll your pic shows a car. Im guessing you are looking for the stripes on the carpet. My advice is to check out (Search) GSRstilez Carpet & Apolstry cleaning. Once you do that you just vaccum up the excess. TO make the stripes you will pull the house towards you and then push it away on the next pass. HTH

I used to use my extractor nozzle for that. I have had good luck, better control, and better access under pedals and tight areas using a scrub brush (shaped like a clothes iron) and the above mentioned technique after extracting all the water from the carpet.
 
The site got wacky on me, but I assume this is like what you were referring to? Like it was said above, after shampooing/extracting the carpets, I take the brush on my Lil' Green Machine in opposite directions.
