How come no samples like the Geek?

Hey AF, I was just wondering why there are no samples for free after $50 like the Geek?

It's not a huge deal, but with those samples, I generally do get something I wouldn't normally and I know three products I have purchased in full size form because of samples like that.

Samples and BOGOs are why I always order from AG. Actually, AG has more stuff, samples, BOGOs, and more free shipping codes.

Am I missing a benefit of Autopia?
 
Been wondering myself, but it might be that both are separate units of PBMG and AG has the right's to it. But with the giveaways that Autopia has and Todd @ the Helm maybe something might happen sometime down the road.

We all value benefits differently...:autopia:

There are free shipping and 15% codes on ACC too.
The contest and giveaways at AF are the best I have ever seen on any forum.
 

I would love to see samples to add on to orders as well. But that has not materialized yet. Maybe some day. Personally I would love to see samples of non PBMG products. But that may be asking a little much.



I would also love to have a special free shipping code per member that you could use say once a month. I have had many time I have chosen not to order because the shipping killed a small $20 order.

Uh yeah. Autopia has way better contests and there are less people here meaning a tighter community, but a con would be not as much activity.

I know almost every very active member's name here and feel closer to them than I feel to people on AG.

Although autogeek does have generally better sales, ACC has better BLACKFIRE sales... and we all know it's all about the whiplash :rockon
 
I agree that Autopia has great contests/giveaways.
On the other hand, I would like to see samples available from Autopia.
I have purchased some products in full size after trying the free sample so I would say it is an effective promotion.

Besides, for people who are non-forum members they may not know about the forum activities and seeing Autogeek has free samples they will place an order there instead of here.

I believe Todd and his team will always get things right for us so lets see!
 
I agree! I have often wanted to order something that I wanted to try, but didn't because the shipping was almost more than the product and at the time I didn't need additional products that would amount to $50 or $75 that would get me free shipping. A once a month or so free shipping with out a minimum purchase would be nice and might lead to me later ordering a larger amount of the test sample.

Better blackfire sales and different sales. Autopia has their brand fallback sales for a week. Autogeek certainly seems to have more sales on more products, but sometimes things are cheaper at Autopia.
