How can I remove scratch in new BMW window?

Hi Guy's,

New 3 series with a 4" scratch on the outside front window right in the center. Looks like maybe something abrasive may have been under the wiper blade because it has a circular arc in the same radius as the wiper motion.

Part of the 4" long scratch I can just barely feel with the finger nail, the other part you cannot feel but can see, especially under certain light.



Can I hide/remove this without distorting the glass? Or is there a service company that can "safely" remove this?

Go to eastwood.com. They offer a windshield scratch repair kit (drill attachment and paste) that works really well for isolated scratches.

I just took out 3 scratches on my windshield. Go to:

I used 1 teaspoon to 4 oz. of water. Make sure windshield is clean , no rainX or stuff.Attach to hi speed drill, use spray bottle of water to keep glass cool when slurry gets dry. If u can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it might night come out. Takes 15 to 30 mins. If it doesn't come out after 30 min. clean and dry for a day. Try again next day.
