how abbrassive is this 3m product

That is Perfect it III Machine Glaze. I have recently purchased that on the advise of some Autopia members and I like it. DACP is much more abbrassive than it is. I phoned 3M customer support before I purchased it and the guy told me it was slightly more abbrassive than 3M Swirl Remover.

I tried to remove some marring on my friends car around the drivers side door handle and this stuff would not do it. I went to DACP and two passes later it was gone. I used the 3m to follow up and get a good shine.

I know the directions say it is for rotary use but there a lot of people using it with a PC. PM Accumulator he uses this stuff in fact he is the one who recommended it to me as a replacement for Megs Swirl Free Polish.

Thats a different story! I have not used that so I can't help but I'm sure someone will come along soon that can. :)

6']['9- Ah yes, 05933. I really can't compare it to the other products you mentioned as I'm not too familiar with them. BUT, I *AM* familiar with the 05933. Works pretty well, not too aggressive, maybe not even aggressive enough! Often, it'll break down fine enough that you don't even have to follow up with a milder product, so work it for a while, maybe til it's almost gone.

It works fine by rotary, hand, PC, you name it. Don't let the "rubbing compound" name worry you, it's good, mild stuff. Of course, you can cut through paint/clear with anything if you're careless....just a little disclaimer ;)
