Hot Weather Detailing

I've been doing some mobile detailing since last October (1 to 3 cars per weekend), everything from simple wash and waxes to all out full blown details. The daytime temps here in Alabama during this time have for the most part been between 40 and 70 degrees. With this temp range using the customers garage or at least getting out of the Sun hasn't been much of a concern.

However, hotter temps are just around the corner and I wanted to get some input from the experts on what products you guys like to use in hotter weather. I've already purchased some OP and OC for polishing (been using Menzerna up to this point). I'm mainly concerned with LSP application in cases where you can't get into the shade. Obviously a pop-up canopy will help this matter to a great degree but what do you guys like to use from a product standpoint if you have to detail in direct summer sunlight. Or is direct sunlight pretty much not an option from an LSP perspective.

Thanks

I plan on using the Optimum line in full sun. Most washes will be done with ONR because I won't have to worry about streaking or waterspots from the heat.

I'd heard the Optimum and PB polishes were Sun friendly, but I wasn't sure about their LSP's? How does OCW do in the heat? I haven't used it before but I know Scottwax seems to really like it and I believe he does a lot of detailing in the Sun.

Thanks for the info guys!!

OCW is best to use in the shade on hot days. I just got a sample of Opti-Seal so I have no idea how sun friendly it is. I tend to use Poorboy's EX-P and EX w/carnauba if I can't get out of the sun. Even on black cars at around 100 degrees in the full sun, both go on and off easily. Not that I recommend you make that a habit but it is nice to know if you don't have any other options.

What do you recommend for basic wash in full sun on a black car? ONR?
