Hot and humid vs. cold and dry weather--LSPs

Has there been any end-all type of tests done comparing how different sealants and waxes last in different climates? I don't want to start a wax vs. sealant debate. I am thinking strictly climate, not necessarily what comes in contact with the paintwork (like bird droppings). I've read that some like sealants in the summer and nuba-based waxes in the winter, and vise-versa. Have anyone noticed one or the other change durability characteristics in different seasons/weather? I know this is probably a hard thing to test because everyone drives there car different amount of miles, washes there vehicle more than some (or less) according to the season, lives in a different location, etc...

That would be interesting. I live in hot and humid florida and I'd like to know what the best lsp is for the climate. Hopefully somebody chimes in.

I'd say any LSP would work. It's all about prep prior to application of an LSP.

As long as you wash at least once a week so dirt and debris won't bond to the surface, and apply a wax/sealent every month or so... then you should be fine.

I say try to keep your car garaged at work, and away from sprinklers, trees, and you'll be good.
