Hose Shutoff

If any of you guys are looking for a nice hose shut off, I just grabbed this one off Amazon. Solid brass. Heavy as heck. The thing is a beast!!! Made by a company called Dramm.

Pictured next to my off the shelf "home improvement" store hose shut off.

I haven`t tried it yet but if the build quality is any indication of how it performs its a keeper.

I`ve been using the dramms for years...
They`re great but....

We have soft water and regardless, the balls seem to corrode over time, which causes sticking issues...
Be careful to not drop it hard on concrete. Happened once, where it hit the angle just right...and the handle sheared off from the nut *it
s brass afterall*. It sheared to the point where a rebuild was required...

Can`t think of anything else, but it`s not bulletproof FWIW

Solid brass.... And the outlet is SO much wider than the other one that I had. No restricted flow here..

Again, i haven`t tried it but it looks kick a**...

I`ve been meaning to pickup one of those. that big box store shutoff sucks. I think I managed to break 2 or 3 of them this year
