By the moderators as I specifically want the folks on the detail forum to read this.

I would like to thank all of you folks for helping out with the ?`s I have asked over the short period of time here-- you guys have been a huge help and want to say a big "Thank you"

Also would like to comment and say I believe you folks are the best that I have ever encountered on any forum that I have ever used. I have been on literally dozens of forums that run the gamut of just about any possible things out there and you folks are BY FAR head and shoulders above all the others. I have especially noticed that when some one asks a ?-- several folks always come on and usually pretty fast and give helpful answers-
On just about every other forum there are ALWAYS a hand full of smart a--es that come back with wise cracks about " use the search feature- thats what it there for" , as of yet I have not seen that here. Thats a big deal to me as I am an old guy and very poor computer skills and experience.

So in this season of thanks-- a big thank you to you from me!!

I`ve been on this forum since 2005 and I agree w everything you have said 100%. Great bunch of folks on here.

And I second your comments about this forum being a great educational tool. Its sometimes difficult to keep up with all the new products and techniques that people are using and honestly this is the best way I have found to keep current on what`s going on in the world of detaing. Theres just no better resource out there.

Absolutely! Great group of people here who all share a passion for detailing. Sometimes we forget that we were once a greenhorn with out any knowledge. I wish these forums were around when I got into serious detailing.

I feel the same way. When I showed up here in 2008-2009 I was a very frustrated black car owner. Ronny taught me the 2 most important things I very learned at a detail weekend thrown by poorboys in Nyack.

1. How to use a polisher. He actually lent me his Flex (and a whole mess of cutting and polishing pads) for the day so I could de-swirl my car and I got her done.

2. Don`t ever..evER, EVER, EVER buy another black car unless you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time except keep it swirl free and clean! :)

Autopia Forums is Seriously a great group of detailers and excellent human beings who have helped me enjoy and refine my favorite hobby.
