Just had my hood resprayed recently - there was a bit of stuffing around getting the details right so it had a couple of coats of clear by the time they finished. End result has meant that the area around my hood windscreen sprayers appears to be domed up slightly (you can see the reflections around them when the light hits). I assume that when they remove the sprayers it leaves a hole during spraying so naturally there is build up around the edges (like all panel edges).
Has anyone seen this before? Not a biggie but it does make it look "repainted". I would have thought they could just be removed and the area wetsanded down and buffed out? Any ideas?
The shop has been really helpful - they will be doing it, I just want to point them in the right direction...
