Has anyone used one of these? You pick them up at the honda dealerships and use them to touchup chips your car. I'm thinking of buying one to patch up some small chips, but im not certain on how well it will work out. If anyone has used this or has any input on it, it would be appreciated.

Ugh. :down Yeah, they're hard to handle and almost hopeless for small chips. The tip is too big and it's sometimes hard to get them flowing well or they dry out too quickly as you're messing with it.

Nissan sells one just like it and they're common.

Buy some lacquer thinner to clean off the tip before putting it away and to re-wet the tip if it dries out. If you can get a bottle of liquid touchup paint instead of a pen you'd be far better off.

You can do a search on Langka. Apply the touch up paint and do the Langka method afterwards to smooth the touch up.

I have one for my Toyota and it works fairly well. The tip is really small, smaller than the one in your picture, so you can fill in the chips pretty well. It takes some getting used to on vertical panels. I'm still looking for one for my Honda, but haven't come across one yet. Guess I'll have to check out my Honda dealer.
