Oh I'll Bring the Shizzle
Haven't been here for a while but here are some pics of a bike I did a few weeks ago. Wash followed with SMR then #26. The paint wasn't too bad 'cept the typical scratches where the tank meets the seat. Polished them out with some Scratch X, then followed up with 3M SMR, then #26. Lubed the chain then proceded to "de-detail" the bike.:nixweiss

Nice work on the F4i. I am glad to see that we finally have more and more posts on bikes on Autopia....maybe there'll be a Biketopia some time soon? :D

Nah, most of us are out riding. ;)

I wish you all would stop posting pictures of bikes it is bringing back major urges that I have had to supress for some time

I have had several bikes over the years but, most recently a Goldwing and before that a '96 CBR1000 and a '96 VFR 750. My favorite bike would have to be the VFR. I don't have any pics of the CBR or the VFR but, I do have some pics of the Goldwing.

The Goldwing was the vehicle that got me into detailing. The previous owner didn't take very good care of it and it needed a lot of cleaning and polishing to get it looking new again. I had the Wing for 2 years and was lucky enough to get a little more than I paid for it when I sold it.

It may not be a sportbike but, I sure as heck rode it like one :xyxthumbs

Go with your urges. I am very close to getting an R6 right now or over the winter.

I might be doing another one of these in a red/silver combo soon. His friend hasn't even washed his F4i all season.

I am torn at this point. I have been really temped to get another bike. The wife isn't too fond of the idea though. I have been leaning towards a kit Cobra replica from www.factoryfive.com or restoring an older Mustang. I have wanted a '70 BOSS 302 since I was a kid and there are still a few out there in desperate need of TLC.
