Honda CRV detail

Today after work I detailed my college's black CRV. As you can see in the pictures below there were a lot of swirls on the car.

This was the process:

- washing with NXT Car Wash

- Meguiars clay

- polishing with 3M fine cut polish

- NXT Tech Wax

These are the before pictures

These are the afters. The result were great, my co-worker was very pleased.

Car looks great, nice detail. Did those swirls come out easily wih the fine cut? or did you have to work them. Tell me does it look good when in direct sunlight too? I struggled with swirls on my blue CRV and know how hard they are to get out. I think I notice different trim in NL than the states. It looks like your bumpers are painted to match rest of car, different wheels, chrome door handles and ivtec emblem on front fender by door. See mine below, slightly different shots.

All the swirls were completely removed using the 3M fine cut polish and a cutting pad on the Makita BO6040. On the hood I used forced rotation for a little more cutting action, but it was quite easy to remove them.

This CRV is an executive model, it does come with all the plastic parts painted, chrome doorhandles and full leather interior (not so common here as in the US).

Nice job! That CRV looks fantastic! I love the styling on it, also. It looks much more upscale than the ones here. It looks like it was inspired somewhat by a Mercedes M-Class from some angles.
