"Homemade" Products

Inspired by another recent thread...Please post and debate away at my and others concoctions - I shall post 2 I actually like though. Note, these are made w/ other COTS products as opposed to compiled from just raw materials/ingredients.



1) Homemade Glass cleaner: ONR @ QD strength with about 12% +/- of 91% isopropyl alcohol. I've used this on my exterior and interior windows and it cleans well without much, if any streaking. I had some streaks/smudges with just ONR. Plus, its about 35 cents a batch and doubles as an house-glass/window cleaner! Cheaper than windex or auto glass cleaner



2) Homemade detail spray, inspiried by Meg's UQD. ONR @ QD str mix with about 25% of DGAW. QD spay for post wash...gloss, shine, and a little supplemental beading/protection



Plz give me more (serious) ideas!
 
I mix up 3:1 ratio of water / APC, and add about 3 teaspoons of Woolite in a squirt bottle. I use this to clean my pads. I squirt it on my dirty pads, let it dwell for 15-20 minutes, then clean in teh sink under warm running water.
 
I like the ONR QD+DGAW idea. I might try this but keep it in the family with OCW instead of Aqua-Wax. HEY- i wonder what sort of formula we could come up with by adding Optimum Instant Detailer. that stuff is super slick.



-I'm thinking of adding 1oz of Opti-seal to a full bottle of Poli-seal in hopes of beefing up the sealant side of OPS. Poli-seal leaves a nice finish as it is.
