Hockey Gold

Man did Sid ever come through and cement his legacy ... he's getting closer and closer to Mario and Wayne every year.

cementing his legacy ? how many years has he played in the league ?

he won a cup last year and had the game winning shot in the olympics. i think he has a long way to go in his career to cement anything.

and if it wasn't for toews scoring the first goal and being a +9 through this past Friday, where would canada have been with sid's mediocre play ?

now back to hockey that counts ! Blackhawks are in NY tomorrow :2thumbs:

Kudos to Canada!!!

That was an amazing game to watch. I am far from being a hockey fan, but I found myself yelling and screaming throughout the game. Haha.

I've been to one NHL game in my life, and I will say this....hockey is SOOOO much better in person than on television. The sport is simply too fast to watch on TV and you can't see the plays develop. Just my dos pesos.

Much like drag racing, you simply have to be there to get the full experience.

hockey is great in person, you really can get a feel for how awesome the game is.

but

i still enjoy watching the hawks on TV.........they werent televised for a long time and now that they are kicking *** and taking names, its fun to be able to watch !

Man, i never understood drag cars until i went to my first event. They even had a jet powered car and a bike guys out and wow.. totally unreal to experience in person. Definitely understood the motivation they guys have cause once they experience the rush, i can see how they get addicted.

Good to see that some on here like hockey. It is a fun game, just keep your head up and your stick on the ice. LOL

I have played most of my life and even played with one of the team Canada players.

It's a sport that has definitely grown on me over the past few years. I'd love to live in a major city that had an NHL team...I know I'd be hooked then.

That's pretty cool, Salty.

We certainly enjoy our Red Wings, here in the Detroit area.

Oh, I know how Detroit feels about the Red Wings. That is one place I would LOVE to watch a hockey game! I'm sure it's MADNESS!
