*Sorry about the poor picture quality/angles, I need to retake photography 101...
I had the pleasure of detailing a "His" and "Her" pair of Mercedes Benzs, all using Adams Polishes Products.
Process as follows (for both):
Adams Car Wash Soap
Blow with Toro Leaf Blower
Dry with WW MF and a little S&W
Claymagic Clay
Adams Revive Polish
Adams Butter Wax
Adams Brilliant Spray Glaze on Headlights and chrome and wheels
Adams Carpet Cleaner on carpets
Adams VRT on interior and exterior trim and tires
Adams In-N-Out spray on exterior trim as well
E.O. 20/20 on windows
First up, a late 80's 560 SL:
Next Up a 2004 E500:
BTW...thats not a scratch, but my tripod's reflection next to the door handle.
I must say, both could have used a polish with SSR2.5 or SSR 1, but that will have to come at another time. Both are garaged kept, and washed weekly.
I apologize for the less then spectacular pictures, i was trying to shoot in between clouds and sun, so things got a little rushed...
My thoughts on Adams lineup...
Car Soap: This is my new soap! It has more suds action than any other that i've used, and it is much slicker.
Revive Polish: A nice, light, non-abrasive polish, added a little depth to the blue 560SL, and added a nice wetness to the black E500.
Butter Wax: Easy on, easy off, no dust. Didn't seem to add any additional depth, but it left things looking clear. Didn't seem to leave much slickness initially, but the owner told me it felt fine the next day. I'm monitoring durability at this point.
Carpet Cleaner: Works well on lightly soiled carpets, I had to do an Oxy/APC mix on the 560SL's light blue mats. On the carpet underneath that, the cleaner made easy work of dirt. I used a Meguiar's Interior Brush and a Ridgid shopvac to vacuum.
Brilliant Spray Glaze: Made the chrome shine really nicely, and the headlights very clear esp. on the E500. More testing will be done...But so far, it works well.
In-n-out Spray: I used this on the license plate frames and the lower grill on the E500. Turns the plastic black very quickly, and cleanly. Very nice product.
VRT: This is going to be my new "go-to" dressing. I used it with an Adams Detailing sponge on all vinyl and the tires. It has a nice low gloss, and spreads very easily. Fantastic product, highly recommended!
