(There isn't a very approriate place to share this but since it would be kept in the car, Car&Driver seems like the best place for it.)
I’m probably the only one that doesn’t have one of these but I found this LED flashlight powered by 4 AA batteries. The mfr. claims this flashlight will run for 150 hours on a set of batteries. Amazing.
The light is super bright but the color is a purple hue which I wasn’t expecting. It has a diffuser style lens so the pattern is broad.

I picked this up at a fireman’s supply store. I guess Costco has purchased 25,000 of these and it can be purchased there for $20. It’s a real powerhouse and will be handy in the car.
