Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have been a car painter for the last 20 years and tring to get into detailing as a way of opening my own business. The goverment is to envolved in the bodyshop business now days so I wouldnt want to own a bodyshop. I have been doing alot of scratch removal for the local car lots, I can remove anything that hasnt broke through the clear. I have done a few jobs where everyone said it would have to be repainted and I was able to make it look new again by wet sanding it with 2000 followed by 3000 on a da sander and then buffing with a white foam pad and 3m perfect II compound, then using a black foam pad amd 3m machine polish. If anyone would like to see some befor and after pics let me know and ill take some on the next job I do and post them.
