New here. Just saying Hi! I've been slowely learning to detail and I'm still a newb as seen by the NTX left all over my Vette in these picks..

I've moved away from NTX to Poorboy's for now though I got EX-P not EX... Live and learn.

I just picked up a PC to help with the early detail mistakes I've made. It's true that MF doesn't mean good for paint. Luckly even bad MF towels marring is.. well micro.. :) Plus I noticed the roof swirls right away and stopped. I use DF towels and washing mitt now and those MF for windows/interior.

:welcome Raedon! You've come to the right place if you are interested in learning more about detailing products and techniques. You have a very nice test vehicle to experiment on. :)

It looks better the better I get. :) I plan on testing the PC on my beater truck that is all beat to hell then on my black 4x4 Jimmy that is a swirl king.

I plan on making my Jimmy my real test because I go mudding here in Texas and black 4x4 + offroading = paint nightmare.

If I am able to make the Jimmy free of it's problems then I'll move to the Vette. Though the Jimmy has a few scratches that a buffer can't fix unless it can add paint. ;)

You shouldn't have any probs. with a PC on the Vette, but I can imagine why you want some practice before going to the vette. Good luck and welcome to the city!

Hey Rae, as a fellow Vette owner and sponsor here at DC, just want to say :welcome

You shouldn't have a problem with the PC if you are "just" polishing and waxing :jump
