is this suppose to be glossy? I tryed polishing it and nothing happen do I need to get it repainted for the guy? It looks all hazy like oxidation but it wont buff out so.... I couldn't really find a pic on the net of what should look like. Thanks!

IIRC the finish on those was a semi-gloss anodized finish. I have found that Klasse All In One does a very nice job of restoring the naturual, semi-sheen finish.

Their not support to be Glossy, but in a satin/semi finish like Todd has mention and using the old stand by like Klasse is a winner in my book.

Late to the party but agree with Todd and Angelo. I've not seen any metal louvers glossy. Grills too. Always brushed/anodized. BTW those are a PITA to take apart and have redone
