I just ordered my Pinnacle Souveran Kit and can't wait to get it to see what all the rave is about! Since I have about 5 coats of Blitz on my car do i need to strip the Blitz in order to put Souveran on or can I put it right over the Blitz?

Sure just put the Souveran over the Blitz after a wash.



I have put Souveran on top of Klasse, then Blitz over Souveran, then Paste Glaz to top all that off. Proper cure times were given for the carnaubas to cure. It sure made that 92 camry look gooooood.

There are a few here who may not really like the idea of mixing waxes or carnaubas. Personally, I really don't see too much of a problem with this. Like Jason, I sometimes throw a coat of Blitz over a Pinnacle wax or vice versa. Its fun to play around like that. Laters
 
Thanks for your help guys....I got my kit yesterday, and I'm going to try it out tonight (at least the Bodywork Shampoo and the Souveran), and ill let you know what I think, from what everyone says i dont think ill be dissapointed! Hopefully my 5 or so coats of Blitz will make it look better!

Yeah, I did actually. So far, I really like them. They are equal to the OEM pads in my opinion, but they seem quite a bit less dusty, which is great. I have a bit of a squeal on the right, but I think I missed spot when greasing.

You want my Red Stuff pads? I believe the V's and my R have the same brakes on the front, at least on the CTS Vs, do the STS' have the same?

HA! Yeah, it's about 3 blocks west of there, I happen to live less than a mile from there. I run by Jack Stacks almost every day, early (5:15 or so), and that's just when they are firing up the smokers for the day and holy cow it smells good!!!
 
No thanks on the pads. I have a full set of Hawk's on the way to go with my EBC Sport rotors.

Not yet... I'm waiting on my buddy (he works, unlike myself! LOL), He does this kind of stuff all the time. Me? I'll wax the back side of the wheels while he changes the pads!:rofl:
