Hi folks - long time no post :)

My roomate has been antsing for me to do his truck for the winter. Last time I did it was the summer with a full on treatment of the FMJ line and let me tell ya - it was still slick as snot today. That's about 6 months longevity with a single coat of FMJ. The truck has been washed three times since then, last week was the latest time.

I did a quick S&W to clean it up and that's when I noticed how slick the finish still was, but he wanted it done so I started thinking about what to mix..what fun can I have.

This is all by hand too, no PC -

1. S&W to clean it up
2. Poorboy's Polish with Carnuba by hand with a damp MF applicator.

Man - I forget how much I love this stuff. Easy on, easy off and fantastic looks. I could have stopped there and I am sure he would have been happy but nooooo. I broke out the Zaino!! :lol - Z2 to be precise. Now I know you'll say "He's a mad man - it will never bond...carnuba and Z = poop." Bah I say..BAH.

3. Z Z Z Zaino :) -
I used a damp MF again and swiped the whole truck. I waited a half hour and S&W my Acura to make the time pass. I gave the Z the finger test and it came off no problem so I grabbed a couple of clean white MF towels to remove.

I moved it outside to make sure I got off all the residue...

4. UGE

I used the UGE just to get the spots that looked like it had a lil residue left.

woof. It came out great IMHO but - this thread is worthless without pics so - here -

Ahhh, but the wheel wells in the last pic look undressed :ticked ... JK :)

Looks great. Definatley looks a lot different IMO then the FMJ. And glad to hear the FMJ lasted that long. What kind of weather does the truck see?

Looking forward to hearing durability updates on this one...with pics of course ;)
