Sam - I know you'll do those wells on Saturday...

I have a Lightning coming in soon, the owner is an afficionado (99 Camaro/Lightning/Lexus/32 Ford Street Rod)

What should I do with the Suede, if anything?

Jim

I was a little hesistant with it. I tried some foaming carpet/aphulstry cleaner on a small section, and it lifted the dirt really well.

If you do the engine, the alternator is right below the blower. Might want to be careful not to get it too wet.

You know I will do them. As I think of stuff, I am making a checklist of stuff to do.

Be careful wiith the Lightnings engine. As said earlier, the alt in right below the blower snout. Your biggest concern are the spark plugs, which sit right up top of the fuel injectors, so dont spray any water up that direction.

Great job on all of the cars btw. My wheel wells get nasty on the truck because i generally goto the track 3 days a week and do roughly 50-60 burnouts with slicks in the waterbox. Ive tried everything to keep them clean to no avail.

Im most curious about the tire dressing on the lightning, i think its great! What is that stuff youre using?

After seeing those tires, I'm a convert, and I just bought a bottle of Meg's regualr Endurance. (although the bottle was split open, and the sponge had been stolen, so I don't feel as bad. the gf will appreciate it)

Wicked cars- very nice work.

Black Lightning, you tried spraying PAM in your wheel wells and fenders to keep rubber from sticking?

Three times a week... wish I had a lightning to take to the track that often :)

I just scrubbed them to death Intel and now im using Pam:bow

Thanks. Went to the track last night. Had chunks of rubber splattered everywhere. Went out this morning with the powerwashers and it flung right off!
