I am a little confused, which is a lot more that most people.

What is the difference between a glaze and a polish, and when would one use a glaze versus a polish.

Basically what does a glaze do and what problems can a glaze fix.

and what does a polish do, and what can a polish fix.

thanks for the help

A Polish is meant for swirl/defect removal (ex: optimum polish)

A glaze is purely meant to deepen/darken the paint, and make it look wet and maybe hide some defects (ex: clearkote RMG) It also gives a nice slick surface to apply the wax.
