Here is the 35 Ford Done

Process was:

Washed with DP Extreme and foam gun.

Polished with my new Metoba with LC Black Pad Using 106ff using 1200 RPM for the first pass then slowed down to 700 RPM to finish.

When over hood with Edge White WOOL pad with 106ff.

Went back over the hood with LC Black and 95rd to get the Spider Web that the white wool left -- oops

LSP was two coats of VW by hand and I do mean using the bare hand to apply.

This car is cherry red and the yellow tint only shows up in pictures. The color in the last picture is probably the closes to the what you would see in person.

Great work Dennis, tell me how do you like VW?, how does it compare to your usual wax on that car?

PS, was it the VW Concours that you used?

Yes it was VW concours and I really do like it. Seems like it contains a lot of oils that will separate in the container when it get warm. It really has a lot of depth and well balanced shine that really makes this car stand out in a crowd. I have used Trade Secrets, PS and when I got the car it had over 100's coats of sealant with what I believed trapped dirt in between the layers, just goes to prove that to much anything can have a negative effect I like TS but PS was a little disappointing on this color, I still prefer PS on dark reds and blacks.

Man great work Dennis. That is SOOO bright! Hey is that what looks like a chevy emblem on your engine??

Jim

Yep...it has a chevy 350 with 350 transmission. Ford engines are just to long without a bunch of mods to firewall.
