I woke up this morning and found white speckles of paint on my black car. So after I had a nervous break down I began trying to remove it. I got it all of of my windows and most of it off of my roof, trunk, and hood, But now I am left with tiny scratches in some places. Any suggestions??? Should I just send it to someone to get detailed and clayed??

Anyone in the Brooklyn area willing to do this??

Sorry to deliver the bad news, the claying is what should have been done in the first place. That might have avoided the scratches.

Now that it’s a done deal, what can be done really depends on how extensive the damage is. Posting pix would help, but finding a capable detailer to evaluate the situation in person is your best bet.

PC.

I tried to clay it myself and the paint would not come off. It was like pieces of latex paint. With a little dish soap and water and my nail behind a microfiber rag, I was able to get most of it off without too much damage. Thing is I was not so lucky on all the areas. Luckily I recently put a sealant and wax on my car so it coulld have been much worse getting off.

A little offtopic but I washed my daughters car which is kept in Brooklyn last week and the drying towel dragged on the paint as if it were sandpaper, I clayed the trunk and get great improvement but the stuff in the air there is unbelievable.
