All 3 products you mentioned should do a great job. Use whichever one you have on hand. Do some good scrubbing, suck out with a wet vac, and the carpet should be as good as new
Folex as well. I get it at Home Depot for around $15 / gallon. I use it inside too. Right after I got my carpets cleaned professionally, my dog got sick and I cleaned it with Folex...left a cleaner area than what the 'professional' had done. Last time I needed my carpets cleaned, I used it in a Rug Doctor rental machine and it outperformed the pro again!
I got some Folex to work on a coffee stain in my Tahoe and then I wanted to give the carpet a good cleaning with my Little Green Machine. My question is, should I run the LGM first to loosen things up, or treat the stain first so I don't set it in?
I got my APC in the mail today. It does have much more smell than the Folex and for the general cleaning I have done it does a good job (Did a great job on my epoxy coated garage floors mixed at 10 to 1 with water).
But, as far as cleaning carpet, if it is my own carpet I'll be sticking with Folex and using the APC for other people's cars and other general cleaning, based on scent alone.
I can see getting a lot of use out of the APC as a general cleaner.
I also got the Wolfgang Carpet and Upholstery Restorer. I'm sure it's a great cleaner but I hope it's strong chemical smell goes away quickly. I'll save it for tough spots.
If those are typical Honda mats with a rubber backing, hose them down to get the loose soil out and then lather up with a soap of your choice and scrub with a brush. I've used dish soap, but laundry detergent would likely be a better choice. Then rinse with the hose. If you have a wet-dry, then vac up what you can to expedite drying. I just rinse and drip dry.
