I also bought some great microfiber towels at costco 16 pack for 10 bucks in a pack they seem nice there from Eurow & Oreilly corp as any one use these they seem soft and plush any one have a review on these towels ? Thanks and God Bless Ciaoooooooo

Welcome. There is lots of info if you do a search. Think about investing in a PC =Porter Cable 7224 or such.

Your cars are going to need proper care and I suggest you download David's e-book on how to detail.

It really isn't so much what products to use to a certain extent, it's actually the prepartion work you do where it pays off. You're going to have to do a lot of reading on your own to find out what it is YOU want. Opinions will vary on different products on different cars.

#9 is very mild and will probably only act as a paint cleaner rather than a swirl remover if used by hand. #26 is an excellent wax but will not hide swirl marks.

If you are working by hand try ScratchX or possibly #80. Be prepared to put a lot of work into removing swirls by hand however.

Invest in a PC and things will become alot easier. #80 on a polishing pad would be a good place to start. Check out autopia-carcare.com for details of the PC with the Sonus DAS pad kit.

Welcome to Autopia!

There are a few approaches that can work by hand, but they *are* a lot of work.

The Meg's #80 might be all you need. It's about as good a one-step polish as I can think of with the possible exception of 1ZPP. Both work well by hand. Sometimes you need to follow the 1ZPP with a milder product, such as 1Z MP. Follow the #80/1Z with your #26.

Dude, welcome and you need a machine for swirls. With nice cars like that 120 bucks for a porter cable PC is a good investment and will erase those swirls nicely. If you like Megs a jar of #80 and a yellow and white pad is all you'll need. This machine is completely safe and made for the begginer. You cannot hurt your paint with this unless you drop the machine on your car.
