Help with stubborn swirls

I am trying to get some swirls out of a Black Ford Explorer.

Here is what I tried so far and while better it is not near corrected.

Washed with Zaino

Zaino Clayed

As for the correction I have been fiddeling with the hood trying to get something figured out before I go all out on the entire thing.

Step 1 - SSR 2.5 on LC CCS 5.5" Orange

Step 2 - SSR 1 on LC CCS 5.5" White

Step 3 - Mothers pre wax cleaner on 5.5" LC Gray

Step 4 - Z5 Pro by hand

This managed to get the haziness out and made the finish slick as glass but some of the original swirl marks are still present.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How many passes with the SSR2.5/orange? This is a somewhat typical stumbling block for me too, at least on harder clearcoats. Do you have either something stronger than SSR2.5, or a yellow pad? FWIW, here's what I'd try...in order.

1. One or two more passes with SSR2.5/orange...assuming you haven't already done so.

2. SSR2.5/yellow on one spot vs SSR3 (or equivalant) on another. What works? What leaves behind less hazing?

SSR1, with either orange or white, should clean up behind this.

Good luck...

Thanks, I thought about ordering some SSR 3 or possibly some SIP and a few yellow pads as I seem to have misplaced the ones I had.
