help with scratch x

well i applied scratch x to my car after claying.i applied to half the hood then removed with MF but it is still hazeing on me.i dont know what elese to do.what am i doing wrong?i am applying this by hand i dont know is that makes a differance or not.somebody please help me

ScratchX is made to be used on a small area (about 6"x 6") and worked in very well with a foam pad, the following thread has good info on using it to remove defects:
