Help with my process, please...

Received Menz polishes (IP, FPII, Finishing Glaze) and am planning on doing the following on one of my cars this weekend. The car is a dark royal blue with only minor corrections needed. Please give me input as you see fit...

- Wash

- Clay

- IP w/light cut pad (LC Orange pad)

- 50/50 Alcohol/water wipedown

- FPII w/polish pad (LC white pad)

- 50/50 Alcohol/water wipedown

- Finish Glaze w/finishing pad (LC gray pad)

- PolyCharged FMJ w/finishing pad (LC gray pad) (2 coats with couple hours inbetween)

- Zaino ClearSeal (8 to 12 hours after FMJ app)

- Z8 (a few hours after ClearSeal app)

I may skip the Finishing Glaze step depending on time.

I also have the 4" CSS pad that I'd like to try but not sure I want to do the whole car with the small pads.

Thanks for your help.

Your system looks great although if I really had to critique any part of it, I would say that yes the glaze isn't "needed" but for presentation, I always use a nice glaze (or Paint Cleaner for sealant application).

The one product I'm not familar with however is Zaino's CS (I'm about 4 months behind) and after reading the info on it, I'm not overly excited to spend $30.00/6oz. of an additional sealant :/. Personally I'd say it's not needed but I would recommend Z8 to top.

That's one thing I was curious on and I hope I can tune back in and ask: In my detailing life, IPA wipedowns have not been necessary and what are, if any the benefits of doing them between compound and polish steps?

Thanks Bigpoppa
