Help with getting product's please

Hey guys, I'm new to this site, and I think it's awesome, and very useful.



I'm 19 and I have been detailing cars for about 5 year's and now I am self employed, and have a few number of regular client's that keep me busy, when I have time away from college.



I do my client's cars at their homes so I have access to water and electicity. But I see that some of you detailer's are working on cars at the clien't work site (parking lot) like the gray Porshe 911 (for example)



My question is how do you guys wash the cars in a parking lot with no water around? And how do you have access to power in a parking lot?



Another question is, my best client has 5 cars, and one of them is a 2003 Lexus GX470 (silver) and I noticed you guys are talking about giving silver cars a "wet" look is hard (I agree) so what kind of product's would you reccomend (by hand, no buffing) for a new silver car? And where I can order them from.

Here is what i suggest.



QEW (quick easy wash) wash anywhere at anytime

then get some vanilla moose glaze, great stuff, easy on easy off.

and gives great results

then i like either S100 or Carnuba Moose wax.

I dont have a link for s100, you can get this at any harley store.

Moose wax link above for clearkote.



Then i wipe down with the ultimate final detailer spray "quickshine" I love this stuff

you can use the same link for clearkote listed above.



All of these products can be used by hand and you will get great results.



As for power I have a convertor and a generator. which ever one i need i use.

How much does an average new generator go for?

a gas powered honda generator will start around 600.00, then they can go up to over 2,000.

You just need to see what amps and power you items need.



I always like to buy the one up from what i need to be sure i always have power
