Help: Windshield Wipers scratched window

I bought a lexus and the idiot before me left the old windshield wipers on to long and it basically left some marring, very fine scratches in the back and fourth motion on my window. I can see it from the front of the car in direct sunlight and also at night it real bad. I have some fine glass polish but I am concerned that it wont come off with that. What are some other options?? I have a orbital and a rotary buffer if needed

Landon, you might do a search. i believe that there was a recent thread about polishing glass. there are products that may help with this. :2thumbs:
 
....in your search I would also look for discussions regarding "cerium oxide" as an option (but make sure you research it thouroughly so you can decide if it's an alternative you want to pursue).
