HELP..Someone keyed my car!

Just did a quick detail and noticed that someone had intentionally scatched the front and rear passenger side doors. Scratches are not too noticable but appear to be through the paint. Is there anything can try short of a new paintjob to remove or lessen these scratches?

best you can do is polish the areas and see how deep and noticable they are...if you see metal then you need to repaint quickly as it will start to rust

Real sorry to hear that...can you feel these with your finger nail? if so then they are pretty deep, meaning they maybe past polishing or wet sanding.

You might try calling on some of the local dealerships...or higher end used car lots...most all of them have a mobile or fixed location person that can repair scratches...they use them for trade-ins...

I have two local guys here that I use for this...I had a big Costco cart hit the side of my black BMW and it went to the metal...about 8 inches long..the guy air brushed this one and then wet sanded and buffed it out...unless you knew where it was no one could really tell that's my suggestion

I'm going with Beemerboy, again, on this one. From the way you described it, the scratch sounds pretty deep. It may be something you might be able to minimize, but a professional should be able to fix it up to what it was before.
